Veritas Vineyard and Winery is one of my personal favorite wineries in Virginia! It’s also very popular, so note that it may get busy with long lines, particularly on weekends when the weather’s nice.
The expansive property has many seating areas for wine tastings. There is also a separate farmhouse where you can stay the night or have a delicious four-course meal. I have had several meals there and it is a great experience.
The dinners feature creative dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. And each course comes with a special wine pairing. I completely recommend it! Please note that space is limited and reservations are required.

Septenary Winery is also known as the Winery at Seven Oaks Farm. It has a rich history dating all the way back to the 1700s. The estate is a Virginia Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The name “Seven Oaks” refers to seven oak trees that once stood on the property. Each tree was named for a President. Sadly, all but one of the trees was destroyed in 1954 by Hurricane Hazel. The remaining tree was named Thomas Jefferson in honor of the founding father’s close connection to nearby Charlottesville.
The winery has ample outdoor seating, but only limited indoor seating, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that the winery does not allow anyone under 21. Dogs are allowed.
